Introducing Elder Grace and a Weekly Series of Stories for Children and Adults

ree

Good morning, Friends — Happy Sunday!

I've been reflecting on new ways to engage with you and share stories that unite us while helping us learn more about ourselves. Most of what I write in my blogs usually comes straight from my own life — the ups, the struggles, and the lessons along the way. That won’t change. But today, I want to let you in on something new I’m really excited about.

I believe that stories are bridges. They carry wisdom across generations, speaking to both the young and the young at heart. That’s why I'm excited to introduce something special — a new weekly series called Stories from The Culture Cre8or.

Each week, you’ll meet Elder Grace, The Culture Cre8or — a wise elder whose parables invite us to reflect on life, love, and leadership. Her stories are simple enough for children to understand, yet layered with meaning that adults can continue to grow from.

At the heart of these stories are what I call the 8 BE’s — eight principles that can transform how we live, love, and lead:

  • Be Responsible

  • Be Aware

  • Be Open

  • Be Courageous

  • Be Grateful

  • Believe

  • Be Awesome

  • Be You

Each month, we’ll spend time with one of these BE’s. We’ll start with Be Responsible. Over four Sundays, The Culture Cre8or will tell stories that invite us to think about responsibility in new ways — responsibility for our choices, our reactions, our growth, and the loads we carry.

But there’s more — each story will also include reflections and sometimes exercises to help you go deeper. These are designed to spark meaningful conversations or personal journaling, giving you space to not just hear the story but live it.

Here’s how you might use them:

  • With Children: Read aloud at bedtime, in classrooms, or around the dinner table. Use the reflection questions to spark conversations about kindness, responsibility, and resilience.

  • With Adults: Share them in team meetings, book clubs, or family gatherings to set the tone for deeper dialogue.

  • For Yourself: Take 5 quiet minutes each week to read, reflect, and journal about how the story speaks to you personally.

Mark your calendars! These stories will be published every Sunday to start your week with wisdom and reflection. However, the very first story — “Love Without the Load” — will be available tomorrow, Monday, August 18th. After that, you can expect a new story from Elder Grace each Sunday.

To receive these weekly stories straight to your inbox, sign up to become a member at www.nikispears.com.

My hope is that these stories will become a gift you look forward to each week — moments of pause, connection, and growth that remind us what matters most.

Together, let’s welcome Elder Grace into our homes, classrooms, workplaces, and hearts.

With love and light,

,Niki
