LIVE!

By now, I'm sure you've learned of the sudden death of Kobe Byrant, his daughter, and another family that were involved in a helicopter crash yesterday. It’s moments like these when we are reminded of our fragile existence. It’s God’s way of grabbing us by the shoulders and giving us a good shake, trying to wake us from our ego mind, so that we have the courage to do the work we were called to do. If you woke up this morning, there is still work to be done. It’s these moments that we realize that we are only here for a short time and must stop taking life for granted and LIVE! This means having the courage to walk out of unhealthy relationships that keep you down; quit the job that you complain about all the time; give the feedback to the right person and stop complaining behind their backs. Like many of you, I didn’t have a personal relationship with Kobe or his daughter, but looking at all the posts and all the people they touched, it looks like they LIVED! When we are gone, the radio will continue to play tunes, people will continue to travel, the phone continues to ring- nothing stops! The best thing we can do when we lose someone is love harder and be courageous enough to LIVE the life we were meant to live. What will people say about you when you are no longer here? What will be your legacy? RIP Kobe, Gianna , Alyssa, Christina, Joah, Keri, Ara, and other passengers that were not yet named 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
