Colorful lights, sweet music, cheerful spirits, Christmas truly is my favorite time of year. Although this year many of us won’t be able to spend time with our families, we can instead focus on relaxation and self-care in order to recharge our bodies and souls.
As we near Christmas and the end of the year, it’s the perfect time to Rest and Reflect. You’ve made it to winter break and you deserve it. Give yourself a round of applause for making it through the most difficult year educators have ever experienced. You are champions.
This Christmas, do a little something for yourself. Whether it’s taking a long candlelit bubble bath, walking around the neighborhood with hot chocolate to see all the Christmas lights, binge-watching your favorite movies, or taking lots of naps, take this time to just BE.
The holidays are the perfect time to put the power of gratitude into action! Don’t focus on the things you don’t have or the challenges, instead be intentional about focusing on the things that are going well. Give yourself time for those things to soak into your spirit and enjoy the moment.
If you need a boost of positive energy, feel like you are burned out, or if you have been questioning why you decided to serve as an educator, you aren’t alone. On January 29th and 30th, I’m hosting a Refueling the Educator’s Soul Conference to help educators Reflect, Recharge and Renew as they reconnect and embrace their why.
This virtual two-part conference will refuel your soul and give you the positive energy you need for the road ahead!
Day 1, Friday, January 29th - 6:00 - 7:30 pm CST (Preparing for the Journey Ahead!)
Day 2, Saturday, January 30th 10:30- 2:00 pm CST (Your Journey Starts here!)
